Building on what you learned in the Level 1 Training, you’ll be able to: * Assess a couple’s Friendship, Conflict, and Shared Meanings Profiles * Develop interventions that act as antidotes to the Four Horsemen * Help couples soothe physiological flooding * Apply six modes of changing the Attack/Defend System in couple interactions * Assist couples in opening up dialogue around gridlocked conflicts * Use interventions to deepen the Friendship System through rituals of connection * Help couples create a shared system of values and meaning * Identify and address five common co-morbidities using Gottman assessments and interventions Professional Development & Practical Immersion * Take part in interactive presentations * Practice Gottman interventions through group role-plays and receive personalised coaching * Watch new demonstration films from the Gottmans’ clinical office * Join discussions with Senior Certified Gottman Therapists and clinicians from around the world * Refine your clinical skills and expand your strategies for working with couples * Learn to internalise and apply research-based Gottman Method assessment and intervention techniques * Explore when to use these methods—and when couples therapy is not recommended * Engage in collaborative dialogue around the application of Gottman Couples Therapy * Gain confidence through immersive, practical learning experiences Who is this workshop for? Once passed, you’ll receive your official Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 2 Certificate, plus a 20-hour CPD certificate.
